Rest well now Robin Williams

Shocked to hear about the passing of oscar-winning actor, Robin Williams who was found dead yesterday at the age of 63. He is a beloved actor and a charasmatic comedian --but those sad eyes have always left me wondering if he was truly as happy as he portrays himself to the world.

I received this quote from a friend this morning and thought it was quite apt since his death is a suspected suicide.

"Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad." -- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Rest in Peace Robin Williams.

As the world mourns the loss of a comedic voice that spanned decades, TIMES takes a look back at his career and selects five of his most memorable roles:

1) Mork in Mork & Mindy

2) Daniel Hillard/ Mrs Doubtfire in Mrs Doubtfire
(This movie helped me tremendously when my parents were going through a bad patch)

3) John Keating in Dead Poets Society

4) Genie in Alladin

and

5) Dr Sean McGuire in Good Will Hunting

RIP our darling Robin Williams

xoxo

Gone to soon
